Torey Boone's Buckets
We're sorry. You must have JavaScript enabled and version 9.0.0 or higher of the Flash player installed to view this video.
We’re the Boone family.
Our son, Torey, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer when he was eight-years-old.
Immediately, the nurses told us about the Ronald McDonald House because they knew we didn’t live near the hospital.
The House offered us a place to stay, but it quickly became so much more.
Torey was able to spend time with kids who were going through similar situations, which he said, made him feel less like an outsider.
Now that Torey is feeling better he hasn’t stopped playing basketball. So to help give back to RMHC, we created a fundraiser called “Torey Boone’s Buckets.” Torey is going to try and shoot as many hoops as he can in a minute to raise $200.
Please consider donating to our fundraiser, so we can help keep families with a sick child together and near the care their children need and check out our video!
UPDATE: With all the amazing support from family and friends, we went above and beyond passing our initial goal of $200 in the blink of an eye. Let's let's keep it going! Our new goal is $2000!!! Thank you to everyone who has been apart of making this happen!
