We are so blessed to be able to spend Christmas Eve with all of you, our closest family & friends, year after year. However, many families are not as lucky and have to spend the holiday season enduring sad and trying circumstances. This past year, Annamaria and her girl scout troop had the opportunity to help families in need by visiting our local Ronald McDonald house where they baked cookies for the families that were staying there. During our visit we got to tour the facilities and meet some of the families that were staying there. It was definitely a great way to show the girls how grateful we should all be and more importantly, how vital it is to give back and help others in need.
This really made a lasting impression on Annamaria and so when it came time to think about Christmas Eve she suggested that we try to help others in need. So we decided as a family to try and make this time even more special by helping to raise some money for this very special cause.
I know that many of you have already asked what you could bring to the party but we don't want you to worry about bringing anything (including gifts) and perhaps consider a donation instead. Donations can be made anonymously and in any amount you wish to donate! If you don't wish to donate, that is definitely okay as well! We just wanted to offer this alternative in hopes of spreading the Christmas cheer to a family that needs some help.
God Bless you all and can't wait to see you on Christmas Eve!
