About Team RMHC

Back in 2006, a man named Bob Marshall had an idea to start a team that would run the Chicago Marathon and raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). That first year, 32 runners tackled the challenge and raised $39,000. To date, Team RMHC has raised over $5 Million dollars - including $1.1 million from our 2016 team!

The funds raised by Team RMHC play a major role in supporting the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities. Each year, RMHC serves over 7.1 million children and families across the globe - keeping them close to each other and the care they need.

This year, Team RMHC has its' sights set on recruiting over 950 runners and a goal to raise over $1.5 million dollars. Together, as a team, we can help over 18,000 children and their families. And as a member of this team, you'll receive the support and encouragement you need to complete 26.2 miles. So whether you're a first-timer or an ultra-marathoner, Team RMHC has a place for you.
