Danica Runs Chicago for RMHC!
For the past few years, I've toyed around with the idea of running my first marathon. I've decided that this will be the year that I actually put my feet to the pavement and make it happen! I am fortunate enough to bring together my passions for running and for the incredible cause of supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). On October 7th, I will have the privilege of running on behalf of Team RMHC at the 2018 Bank of America Chicago Marathon! As a member of Team RMHC, I will be training, fundraising and ultimately running 26.2 miles to help keep families together.
Did you know $25 can provide dinner for a family and $80 can give a family a room for a night? Your donation, of any amount, will not only help me achieve my goal, but will help children stay close to their families when they need it most! RMHC houses around the world provide families a comfortable place to rest while their loved ones are in the hospital. The house never requires that a family pay for a single night or meal spent at the house. The house operates solely from donations, which is why I am running this race for RMHC.
While there are many fantastic non-profit organizations, I would greatly appreciate any funds to support this incredible cause. I am proud to support the house that love built, and I hope you will help me reach my fundraising goal of $3,000!
Thank you from the botton of my heart and the bottom of my soon-to-be tired feet!
