On October 8th, we will be representing Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) at the 2017 Bank of America Chicago Marathon! As a members of Team RMHC, we will be training, fundraising and ultimately running 26.2 miles to help keep families close.
As of right now, our team consists of 6 members from our local running group, the Frankfort New Lenox Running Club (FNRC). Nicole Hosack, Michael Barr, Calvin Jordan, Patti Brink, Theresa Davis and Dan Fitzgerald will not only be training together this summer, but will be working together to raise money for the RMHC! Our team goal right now is $6000-but we would love to raise more. Both FNRC and the RMHC have special places in all of our lives, but everyone's story and experience is different. This page is still under construction, so check back later on to read about our journey.
Since 1974, RMHC has been making children happier and healthier by keeping families together – giving them a place to rest and refresh. A place that feels like home.
You too can join RMHC's network of HOPE, STRENGTH and SUPPORT, by supporting our efforts - $25 can provide dinner for a family, $80 can give a family a room for a night. Your donation, of any amount, will not only help us achieve our goal, but will help children stay close to their families when they need it most!
