Amanda is Running Chicago for RMHC
Dear Friends and Family,
You all know how much I love running and I’m sure you lose track of the races I try to share with you. Although I’ve had many amazing experiences all over the world, one of my favorite races was the 2017 Chicago Marathon. What made that race so special? Well, I can’t wait to tell you!
I had the opportunity to run the streets of the beautiful city of Chicago with my Alpha Delta Pi (ADPi) sisters. And, to top that off, you all helped me raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). The 2017 race was the first time I’ve raised funds on such a grand scale and it gave my race meaning and purpose. While I was running, I couldn’t stop thinking about all of you and how your generosity and love provided so much support throughout the race. More importantly, that same generosity and love were providing a home away from home to keep families with sick children together, in the same city, during one of the most terrifying times of their lives. What an amazing gift!
It is time for me to lace up my new running shoes and hit the streets of Chicago again. On October 13, 2019, I will run the Chicago Marathon with my ADPi sisters and I am going to do my best to raise as much money for RMHC as I can. My personal goal is to raise at least $1500 and I know I can do it with your help. Did you know $25 can provide dinner for a family and $80 can give a family a room for a night? Your donation, of ANY amount, will help me reach my fund raising goal AND will help children stay close to their families while they are receiving life-saving medical care.
Please consider making a donation to RMHC and help keep families together when they need the love and support of one another the most. And, if I can raise $650, in total, by year end 2018, I will make a matching donation of $650!

Thank you so much for your love and support.
