Team Run 4J - Fundraising for RMHC to run the Chicago Marathon!
On October 13th, “Team Run 4J” will be representing Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) at the 2019 Bank of America Chicago Marathon! RMHC provides local support and housing services to families with seriously ill or injured children. Our friends who developed the team are ultimately training and running the race in honor of their 18 month old son Jackson, who unexpectedly passed away last November 7th, 2018.
During their time at Advocate Christ Children’s Hospital - Oak Lawn, RMHC reached out to them with hot meals, a place on-site to help them renew their spirits, and ultimately provided them tremendous support to ensure they could remain by their baby’s side as much as possible. Training and running this race together is a way they are trying to heal as a family. It is also a great opportunity to give back to this great charity that not only supoorted them but who help and support many other families with sick children every day.
I’m looking for your support for this great charity! The goal is to raise $1750 for RMHC in order to run the race. Your donation, of any amount, will not only help me achieve my goal, but will help children stay close to their families when they need it most! Even a little can go a long way!
Any support is greatly appreciated, whether it’s a donation or just cheering us to the finish on race day!
