Thank you for being patient as we continue to monitor all options pertaining to charity entries for the 2020 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. As of today, the marathon is unable to say definitively whether or not the race will proceed and they are preparing for both outcomes.

We will continue to monitor what options the marathon extends to charity entries. In the meantime, RMHC is offering two options to our team to lessen concerns and uncertainty.

Option 1: Declare Injury Clause; reduces your fundraising requirement by 50%.This will forfeit your entry and no deferral to 2021 will be issued. Deadline to declare this option is August 1, 2020.

Option 2: Full steam ahead. Continue to train, raise your FULL original fundraising commitment, and run 26.2 miles (no matter what) on October 11.If the event is CANCELLED, you will receive a deferred entry into the 2021 Chicago Marathon. **RUNNERS who receive a deferred entry will be responsible for paying their 2021 registration fee. However, fundraising will NOT be required again.

Please use THIS FORM to make your selection. As more information or other options become available through the BOACM, we will notify you immediately.

If you have questions or concerns regarding the two options made available, please email me at kmarchetti@rmhc.org
