Eugene Marathon - Run for RMHC Team
Run for the Ronald McDonald House!
RUNNERS ready to RUN FOR RMHC: Click the red JOIN TEAM button to get started raising life-changing funds in support of the children and families!
Every 4 hours, a family checks in to one of our four Oregon Ronald McDonald Houses to access essential lodging, meals, and support while their child receives critical, life-saving medical care in a city far from their home.
You can help these families thrive by helping raise funds to provide free night stays for children and their families! By joining the Run for RMHC Team, you will be joining a whole host of like-minded athletes, who love racing and love helping others.
We're excited to create team opportunities to connect through an online Facebook group, a pre-race celebration together, and make this the most inspirational and impactful race you've ever been a part of.
Once you join our team, we'll send you more information on officially registering for your race. If you have any questions, please contact Jessica Ubel, Development Director at RMHC Heartfelt House at jessica.ubel@rmhcoregon.org.
On your mark, get set, JOIN! (Or, if you would like, donate toward our team's goal! To donate toward an individual's goal or to join their team within our team, please click on their name under Team Roster. Thank you!)

Fundraising Goals:
The Eugene Marathon has established minimum fundraising goals for every runner raising money for a charity. While that is also the minimum RMHC requires, we ask our teammates to set their goal at $500 or more to make a BIG IMPACT on children and families staying at RMHC. We not only 100% believe you can meet and even exceed these goals, we’ll give you tips and tricks to help you get there!
1/2 or Full Marathon: $250 EM minimum (Set goal on fundraising page at $500 or higher)
5K Run: $150 EM minimum (Set your goal on fundraising page at $150 or higher)

More about RMHC: Our Mission
Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Oregon & SW Washington provides access to medical care, a home away from home, and a community of support for seriously ill or injured children and their families.
Keeping Families Close Since 1984
After two years of planning, the first Oregon Ronald McDonald House opened in 1984 within walking distance of OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Shriners Hospital for Children. In 1997, two more Ronald McDonald Houses opened: one in Bend, serving families who traveled for care at St. Charles Medical Center, and a second in Portland, just steps away from Randall Children’s Hospital on the campus of Legacy Emanuel Hospital. In order to meet the evolving needs of our families and to increase capacity, our Houses have undergone various remodels and relocations. What began as one House with 17 guest rooms has evolved into four beautiful Houses with 79 rooms. For more than three decades, our dedicated staff and volunteers have offered comfort and support, a well-stocked kitchen, and a comfortable bed to more than 35,000 families, reminding everyone who enters our Houses that they are always at home and never alone. Our Heartfelt House in Springfield, Oregon, has 10 pediatric rooms and we have been at capacacity since we opened our doors in September 2019.
Part of a Global Family
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon & SW Washington is part of a global network of Ronald McDonald Houses and programs that serve nearly 6,000,000 children and families annually. Since 1974, our network of local chapters have been making children happier and healthier by keeping families together and giving them a place to rest and heal. Tailored to meet the urgent needs of each community, these programs can now be found in more than 60 countries and regions across the globe.
Welcome to our Raise Love #forRMHC fundraising page!
RMHC helps families with a sick child stay close to the essential care they need and, most importantly, each other. Which is why we’ve decided to fundraise by doing what we love to help keep families together.
But we can’t do it without our friends and family!
By joining our team or donating to help us reach our goal, we can provide families staying at RMHC with home cooked meals, a comfortable bed to sleep in and a place to be together.
So, help us raise funds to keep families together by joining our team or donating!
