Welcome to My Personal Page
On October 9, I will run my eighth Bank of America Chicago Marathon representing Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). As a member of Team RMHC, I will be training, fundraising and ultimately running 26.2 miles to help keep families together.
This year I've set the ambitious goal of raising at least $20,000 between now and race day. It costs about $100 for RMHC to provide a family with dinner and a room for the night at a Ronald McDonald House (for which the family pays nothing). With your help, you and I will provide at least 200 nights of dinners and rooms for families who will find comfort and peace of mind in being able to stay close to their hospitalized children.
Again this year, when you donate, your name will go on back of the Team RMHC shirt I will wear on race day. So, not only do you get to help families in need, you also get to (virtually) run the entire 26.2 mile course with me. And I promise to run slowly enough so that each of my 1,000 Team RMHC teammates, 50,000 Chicago Marathon runners and 1.5-2 million spectators will see your name featured as a generous supporter of RMHC.
I am grateful to each of you for your generous support.
Scott
