On October 8, I will be representing Ronald McDonald House Charities at the 2023 Bank of America Chicago Marathon! As a member of Team RMHC, I will be training, fundraising, and ultimately running 26.2 miles to help families feel at home when receiving the care they need.

I chose RMHC because I wanted to do something to remember the people I know who have died from cancer and honor those who survived or are still fighting the disease.

It costs approximately $100 to give a family one night of comfort and support. Your donation of any amount will help children stay close to their families when it matters most! Let's reach our goal!

Why am I doing this? I wanted to do something for all the people I have know that have died due to cancer and have fought/still fighting the disease. I can't imagine having to fight that disease especially at a young age.

Also I need to know that I have at least one more marathon left in me. I am grateful that I have been relatively healthy. I wanted to give to those that are not so lucky.
