Together, Let's Give Families the Support They Need
Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is a non-profit organization that provides support to families with sick children. Their funding helps families meet with specialty doctors, make important decisions about their child’s care, and provide the means to spend as much time together as possible.
The funds raised by Team RMHC play an integral role in the ability to meet the critical needs of over 5.5 million children and their families across the globe. In 2006, a man named Bob Marshall had an idea to start a team that would run the Chicago Marathon and raise money for RMHC. That first year, 32 runners tackled the challenge and raised $39,000. This year, Team RMHC has a goal to raise over $1.5 million dollars. Together, as a team, we can help over 18,000 children and their families.
On October 9th, I will be representing RMHC at the 2022 Bank of America Chicago Marathon! As a member of Team RMHC, I will be training, fundraising, and ultimately running 26.2 miles to help keep families together.
It costs approximately $100 to give a family one night of comfort and support. Your donation, of any amount, will not only help me achieve my goal but will help children stay close to their families when they need it most!
