Welcome to Krystina Fisher's Page!
I’m excited to announce that on October 9th, I will be representing Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) at the 2022 Bank of America Chicago Marathon! As a member of Team RMHC, I will be training, fundraising, and ultimately running 26.2 miles to help keep families together.
RMHC helps millions of families each year to cope better and focus on the needs of their sick child, allowing them the ability to spend more time with them, interact with their doctors, and make important decisions about their child’s care.
I've always loved to run. The energy it gives me, the stress it relieves, and the overall happiness of just being outside. That said, the longest distance I’ve ran is 13.5 miles, and my last half marathon was five years ago. What’s another 12.7? I wanted to challenge myself to try something new this year so here I go...
My company presented an amazing opportunity to run while raising money for a great cause and I had to accept. I look forward to joining many of my colleagues from Team Golin who have been running the Chicago Marathon since 2012 and raised almost $200,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Your donation, of any amount, will not only help me achieve my goal, but will help children stay close to their families when they need it most!
Other things I need: any tips/advice on how to train, playlist ideas, & emotional support animals.
