Yikes!  The countdown is close. Last Saturday was the longest training run of 22 miles. It’s downhill from here!

Hard to believe that I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to run a marathon this year. Was coming out of an injury and could barely run 3 miles. I waited until I was fairly confident that somehow, someway I would be able to finish the race this year before I sent out my first request for donations/support.  Now I’m confident. 

To those of you who supported me last year, thank you!  To those of you who have already made a donation this year, thank you!  To those of you thinking about making a donation there is still time.  It’s amazing how much different I feel running knowing I have your support and that together we are raising money for RMHC.  Below is a little bit of information about RMHC.

RMHC helps millions of families each year. They help families cope better and focus on the needs of their sick child, allowing them the ability to spend more time with their child, to interact with their doctors, and to make important decisions about their child’s care.

It costs approximately $100 to give a family one night of comfort and support.  That time together is invaluable.  Your donation, no matter the amount, will not only help me achieve my goal, but will help children stay close to their families when they need it most! ANY donation is appreciated!  $1, $5, $20 can and will be put to use.
