Welcome to Ted Myatt's Personal RMHC Chicago Marathon Page
On October 13th, I will be representing Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) at the 2024 Bank of America Chicago Marathon! I am excited to be returning to the city where I grew up to run my third Chicago Marathon. As a member of Team RMHC, I will be training, fundraising and ultimately running 26.2 miles to help keep families together.
Donations will support the Ronald McDonald Houses in Providence and Boston. I've lived and worked in Rhode Island and Boston for 20+ years and supporting RMHC means a lot to me. In my work, I've consulted for many hospitals, biotechs, and universities in the Boston area and I have been affiliated with Brigham & Women's, the University of Rhode Island, and Tufts University. My wife is a pediatrician who has worked at Women & Infants and Hasbro Children's Hospital. The care and support of families with sick children is so important to our family.
Did you know RMHC helps millions of families each year? RMHC helps families cope better and focus on the needs of their sick child, allowing them the ability to spend more time with their child, to interact with their doctors, and to make important decisions about their child’s care.
It costs approximately $100 to give a family one night of comfort and support. Your donation, in any amount, will not only help me achieve my goal, but will help children stay close to their families when they need it most!
I have a lot of training to do!
