Thanks for supporting me in Chicago and the RMHC!
Those of you who know me know that I’ve run several marathons, but for the first time I will be representing Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) at the 2024 Bank of America Chicago Marathon on October 13, 2024! I volunteered with my local House in Albany (Capital District) when I was a kid and since then I’ve stayed involved and helped to raise money for various RMHC Houses and programs throughout my adult life. RMHC will always be very special to me with a super important cause of helping families going through health challenges by staying together!
These Houses host families of children being seen or treated for health issues at local hospitals. RMHC helps millions of families each year cope better and focus on the needs of their sick child, allowing them the ability to spend more time with their child, to interact with their doctors, and to make important decisions about their child’s care.
It costs approximately $100 to give a family one night of comfort and support. Your donation, of any amount, will not only help me achieve my goal, but will help children stay close to their families when they need it most! All donations are tax deductible!
Individually, I’ve been training very hard all summer — running as much as 100 miles in a week! — and intend to do my best to represent RMHC in October!!!
