When you are in the presence of Kaiya Mack, you would never know she has been through more operations than her number in years and even flatlined for 30 seconds. Kaiya was born with a rare condition called Gastroschisis, which means she was born with her intestines outside her body. The national average is 1 in 10,000, but in Hawaii, it's 1 in 3,000. Despite what may seem like a setback and 2 more recent operations in 2019, Kaiya thrives with her explosive energy. By the time Kaiya was 4, she had danced on stage at Aloha Stadium in front of thousands of people, opening up for Chainsmokers. Last year she chanted Buju Banton's Wanna Be Loved in front of thousands in San Francisco, opening up for reggae icons Sizzla, Common Kings, J Boog, and Afrobeat sensation Afro B. She truly enjoys entertaining people, and like she said at 3: "Making people happy."
This holiday season, Kaiya wants to help give back to the Ronald McDonald House that helped her and her family for 4 months when she was in the NICU, and again in 2019. Everyone who donates will get a free copy of Last Christmas Reggae Remix by Kaiya Mack! And if we can reach her NEW fundraising goal of $15,000, everyone who donated also will also get a free copy of Dynamite Reggae Remix by Kaiya Mack!
